DOROTHY TELLS ALL ! Is the story of a Dorothy who doesn’t click her heels, remains in Oz, and becomes a wildly successful show business performer. She wasn’t a child when she was transported by cyclone to Oz, rather a deeply troubled twenty something drug addict with big dreams, an empty stage resume, and a fierce, angry attitude. The Wizard, upon returning to Kansas, appropriates her story, entitles it “The Wizard of Oz,” and Dorothy is left in the dust in Oz. As time passes she becomes bitter, angrier, and more dependent on substance. Toto passes. Glinda isn’t who she seems. And the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow…. Cannot seem to find a way to help their friend.

Who is Dorothy without the pain of losing of Judy Garland? Was she ever tragic- and is it fair to imprint this on her forever?

We believe Dorothy is the ultimate fairy tale icon- characterized by resilience, truth and a sense of purpose. And The truth is Dorothy is all of us- round, bright, full of potential- and potentially full of bad choices; catalyzed but life’s indiscriminate pains and heartbreaks.
